Garlic Mushroom Steak with Quick Pan Sauce

  1. Pat steak dry. Slice thin against the grain.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet over medium-high.
  4. Sear steak in single layer 1 to 2 minutes per side. Remove and reserve.
  5. Add remaining oil and butter.
  6. Cook onion 4 minutes.
  7. Add mushrooms, cook 6 to 8 minutes until golden.
  8. Add garlic, cook 30 seconds.
  9. Add broth and Worcestershire. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, scraping bottom.
  10. Return steak, toss 1 minute.
  11. Garnish with parsley.

Vivi's Notes

For a creamier version, add 1/4 cup heavy cream and 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan during the last 2 minutes. Serve with air fryer baby potatoes, mashed potatoes, white rice, or a simple green salad.
